About

Our plan at first was to create a directory of websites offering daily deals -- the project was very simple and straight forward. We started by searching all over the web for websites offering them. In the process, we learned that there are hundreds of websites offering these deals, and that it would be impossible for anyone to keep track of them on a daily basis by actually visiting all of these sites one by one. To make a very long story short, Trackdailydeal.com was created and what was once impossible has now been made possible -- people can track thousands of deals from hundreds of websites on a daily basis.

For those that aren't familiar with daily deals, we urge you to check both the online deal and local deal sections of Trackdailydeal.com -- because in all honesty, these deals are just the coolest thing to have hit the internet. Why? Because just about anyone can find something that they could use -- at an incredibly low price -- on any given day. Whether you're looking for gadgets, electronics, clothing, movies, music, games, a hairstylist, a dentist, restaurant deals, a night on the town, a new way to get in shape, a way to relax or something new to do, daily deals are definitely the way to buy for less.

So what do we do exactly? Well, in short, we wrote a program (developed a bot) that is able to check websites for new deals throughout the day. When our bot finds new deals, it retrieves the details of those deals such as the: image, price, retail price, title, description and more. We then take those details and post them on our site. Sure the process may sound simple, but repeat that process thousands of times throughout the day and it's no longer as simple.

In reality, the whole process is humanly impossible to do because even if someone had all day to sit around and visit a bunch of websites, they'd be unable to actually check out hundreds of sites at once. We literally update the site with tens of thousands of deals per month.

Of course it doesn't all stop at just being able to view the deals. These deals can also be sorted and compared by numerous fields, added to a wish list, reviewed, and shared with friends on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and more. Our site can also be accessed from just about any computer or mobile device. RSS feeds are also available. To subscribe to an RSS feed, simply look for the RSS link at the bottom of listing pages or click your browser's RSS feed icon when on these pages.
